About Logan
Woodworker I Business Owner I Student
Welcome to Reese’s Woodworks, where your furniture ideas come to life! My name is Logan Reese and my passion for woodworking started in 2023 and has steadily grown ever since. I’ve always dreamed of one day owning my own business but never knew where to start…
After taking a few woodworking classes, I discovered how much I enjoyed working with my hands and how quickly I could learn through trial and error. With a goal in mind and a few old tools borrowed from my dad, I began working at my craft. I started off making projects from soft woods and refinishing furniture for customers, which helped build my skills and knowledge early on.
However, I soon realized that making custom hardwood furniture was better suited for me. Now, I use wood harvested from my own land and partner with local businesses to ensure the highest quality materials for every project.
What makes Reese’s Woodworks different from the rest is the personal touch. Each piece is made with care, using local materials, and built exactly the way the customer wants it. Through hard work and a genuine passion for my craft, I am here to turn dreams into handcrafted furniture that lasts.

Specialty Milling & Drying
90% of the wood I sell comes directly from the trees harvested on our own property. I partner with a local portable sawmill company that brings their equipment right to our land allowing us to mill each log on-site without the hassle of transporting heavy timber. This process ensures that every slab is locally sourced, and nothing goes to waste. Every slab is from trees I’ve cut down and chosen for their quality. From standing trees to finished tables, I oversee every step in the process so you know exactly where your wood comes from.
The other 10% is exotic lumber I purchase locally from a trusted hardwood supplier. These slabs are kiln dried down to the appropriate moisture making them stable and ready to use for furniture and other projects. The drying process takes a couple of months but ensures wood is properly seasoned and won't warp or crack overtime.
More About Me
Outside of the shop, I love being outdoors—whether I’m fishing, golfing, camping, working out or just spending time with friends/family. Woodworking has always been a passion of mine, and I feel blessed every day to be able to turn that passion into something real. Above all, I’d like to thank God for everything I have, and I’m truly grateful for the support of my family and friends who’ve helped me get to where I am today.
